Participating means that your Electric Vehicle is actively participating in an equivent.
If your Electric Vehicle (EV) is actively participating in an equivent then 'participating' will be displayed on your home screen of the EV app.
Your charging will be paused during this time (usually for an hour). Once the equivent has ended your car will resume charging and you will earn points based on the amount of energy and CO2 you have saved.
PLEASE NOTE: In order to earn points for participating in an equivent with your electric vehicle you will need to connect your smart meter to your equiwatt account.
