Referred Friend: The person who receives/received the Referral link. A Referred Friend is any person over the age of 18, resident within Oxfordshire in the UK.

Referral Link: The hyperlink provided to the Referred Friend, redirecting to the respective equiwatt app download page.

Referral Code: The unique four-digit code provided to the Referred Friend by an advocate.

Referral Terms: These Terms and Conditions, including updates, alterations and possible appendices, are published on the equiwatt website.

Referral Leaderboard: A leaderboard used to track all the Oxfordshire-based Referred Friends an Advocate has successfully referred to equiwatt.

MPAN: Also known as a Meter Point Administration Number (MPAN) is a unique 13-digit number for the electricity meter on every property.

The start and finish of equivents are announced in notifications within the equiwatt app. equiwatt will remotely and temporarily switch off any connected smart enabled appliances and other devices during equivents that have been set by the user. equivents last for 1 hour, however, participants can manage their time of participation preferences through the app.
