What data do you collect about my EV and how do you keep it safe?

We only collect information from you and your EV that is needed to provide our smart charging service to you.

The EV information that is necessary to provide our Smart Charging service to you includes information from your hardware including:

• Location information so we can determine if the item is located at the home location as set in the app
• Charge rate and charge state
• Battery level

equiwatt uses selected third parties to provide our EV smart charging services. To deliver those services to you, equiwatt uses a secure manufacturer-supported API through which some information will be shared with third parties under strict confidentiality obligations.
