To earn points from the National Grid winter Demand Flexibility Service events you will need a smart meter.
Yes. You will need a working electric smart meter and half-hourly readings enabled to take part so we can verify how much energy you’ve managed to save.
However, if you don't have a smart meter you can still get rewarded for participating in equivents that are not part of the National Grid's winter demand flexibility service.
