I don’t have a smart meter, can I still verify my MPAN?

You do not need a Smart Meter in order for us to verify your MPAN for you. Read on to learn more.

If you do not currently have a smart meter in your home, you can still verify your MPAN number by simply sending a copy of your electricity bill to us via email at hello@equiwatt.com and we will manually verify your MPAN for you.


You do not need to send us your complete bill but simply the section that includes your address and MPAN number. See the example below.

NOTE: We currently manually verify user MPAN numbers in batches several times a week.
