How do I opt into equiwatt's DFS powerDOWN events?
When you first create your equiwatt account, you should be automatically opted in to take part in all our powerDOWN events.
However, if for whatever reason you are not opted in then you can amend this by doing the following:
- Open the equiwatt app > Go to the home screen.
- Select the blue button 'You are eligible to participate in powerDOWN events'. Tap to learn more.
- Confirm your wish to opt in via the pop-up screen that appears.
You will now be opted in to all future powerDOWN events.
PLEASE NOTE: You will need to confirm your participation in each powerDOWN event by opting in via the app to take part in the event and earn points.
You can check your opt in status by opening the home screen of the app and checking the text that appears in the blue bar underneath your event participation and points.
If you are successfully opted in then it will read as follows: 'You're opted in to participate in powerDOWN events. Tap to learn more.'
