Manually connecting your electric vehicle to equiwatt enables you to get specific reminders and prompts to pause charging during events, making taking part easier and avoiding charging when electricity is dirty and expensive.
If you own an electric vehicle currently not supported by equiwatt, you can add them to the equiwatt app by following the steps below.
Step 1: Go to the 'Manage' tab of the app and select 'Add Electric Vehicle'
Step 2: Scroll to the bottom of the list and select 'Can't find your EV?'
Step 3: In the 'Add your EV manually' screen enter the brand, model and year of your EV and click 'Continue'
Once you have successfully added your EV you will be able to follow the below steps to manually participate in an event.
