Connecting your Tado smart thermostat to equiwatt lets you participate in equivents automatically.

If you own a Tado smart thermostat, you can connect it to the equiwatt app by following the steps below.

Step 1: Add Integration

• Open the 'Manage' tab (toggle icon) of the equiwatt app and select 'Add other integrations'.

Step 2: Add Smart Thermostat

• Select 'Smart Thermostat' and read through the information before selecting 'Continue'.

Step 3: Select Brand

• Select the Tado smart thermostat.

Step 4: Sign in

• To connect your device to equiwatt, you must sign in to your Tado account. First you will need to submit your user code.

• Next, sign in to your Tado account using your account credentials.

Step 5: Successful Linking 

• Once you have signed in, your smart thermostat will be successfully connected to the equiwatt app, ready to participate automatically in events. To view your device, select the 'View connected heaters' button.

• You will now be able to edit the settings of your smart thermostat to decide whether you want it to automatically participate in events or not.

• If you wish to remove your thermostat, simply select the 'Remove Thermostat' button on the settings screen.
