What does the "Stand by" status in the home screen mean?

The standby status means that your EV is connected to the app but your car is not ready to participate in an equivent.

If you see the 'Stand by' message appear on the 'Home' tab of the app it means your EV is connected to your equiwatt account and smart charging is enabled, however, your EV is not ready to participate in an equivent. The reason for this is because of one of the following criteria has not been met.

Your EV will only be ready to participate in an equivent when:

  • Your EV is plugged in and charging
  • You are charging at home
  • The battery level is above your selected preference
